FAQ's

How do I book the 'Drifters' for a gig?

You have direct contact with our booking personnel by clicking on our contact e-mail: Book the Drifters!. We are available to answer all of your hiring questions online!

For what type of gigs are the 'Drifters' available?

The 'Drifters' play nightclubs, festivals, fundraisers, private parties, conventions, Mardi Gras Krewe membership meetings, and for that matter, any type of function you may contemplate! We have even played weddings and hog & deer barbeques! No job too small, no job too big!

What requirements do the 'Drifters' demand for a booked gig?

Unlike other musical acts, the 'Drifters' do not require massive pre-gig arrangements at your gig site- we do not require cases of champagne or masseuses to be on site during a 'Drifters' performance (however, if these
creature comforts are already in place, please leave them).

Are the 'Drifters' safe to mingle with my guests at a private party?

The 'Drifters' are highly skilled in the art of social mingling and will add a flourish of class to any type of get together you are organizing. Each 'Drifter' has undergone a series of physical and mental endurance testing
techniques including the NASA centrifuge high "G-Force" blackout training program.

What is the lowest operating temperature of my GCX567 if I attach a KR667 module?

Even before they were bluegrass stars, each individual member of the HighGround Drifters has led a truly incredible musical journey. For example, after hearing JohnnyBanjo perform, you would assume he grew up in a rich musical environment. Quite the opposite: JohnnyBanjo grew up in a household void of musical influence. The only source of music to the infant Johnny was a 33 1/3 LP vinyl recording of "2001: A Space Odyssey". By the age of 9 months, JohnnyBanjo had completely and accurately melodically transcribed
the entire soundtrack (including the "Jupiter Sequence") on his toy banjo (see photo). Unfortunately, no one around Johnny could grasp his extraordinary talent, and his true musical genius laid dormant for many
years.
